About Linda Chan Attreed
I was born and raised in Manhattan’s Chinatown to immigrant parents from China. Growing up in an immigrant community shaped how I see the world and gave me an early appreciation for the courage, ambition, and resilience it takes to build a life in a new country.
From an early age, I saw how language barriers, unfamiliar systems, and lack of representation could make even simple interactions feel overwhelming – and how powerful it was when someone stepped in to advocate on behalf of others.
